Good morning from Cobbly Nob, Tennesse

We’re in the Smoky Mountains this week outside of Gatlinburg.  It’s a “happy place” for me and Norma Jean.

We have many wonderful memories in the Smokies.  We honeymooned here 54 years ago.  We’ve been here with our kids.  And grandkids.  Two years ago we were “stranded” here for 8 weeks when COVID-19 hit.  Not complaining,  It was a great place to sequester.

Plus we always enjoy seeing our good friends Olie & Mary Williamson and worshiping with the church family in Cosby, where I will be preaching tomorrow.  If you happen to be in the area, come and visit us Continue reading →

Good morning from Temple Terrace, Florida

Norma Jean and I came down to Tampa yesterday and enjoyed a good time with our daughter and grandkids.  We spent the night so we could attend the Florida College play “She Loves Me.”  If you’ve never attended one of their productions, I encourage to you go.  They’re top-notch.

Good morning from Tyler, Texas

Norma Jean and I are on the way to Denton where I will be preaching in a meeting at the Eastside Church, March 6-9.  We’d love to see as many of our friends and readers as possible in the DWF area.

Good Morning from Beverly Hills,

Yesterday Norma Jean and I drove our own car to a Doctor’s appointment, then went to the Y to work out.   After that, we went to Winn Dixie to buy groceries.  The shelves were filled with many choices and we bought what we wanted.  After enjoying a BLT for lunch and watching Outnumbered, I did some work that required the use of the internet.  Relaxed a bit in the afternoon.  Cleaned off our pool deck.  Then showered, and went out to eat at one of our favorite area restaurants for a fish dinner.  All of this was done with relative ease and no concern for our safety.
