Weekly Recap: October 4-9

Good morning from the Bluegrass State!

In fact, we’re in the heart of the Commonwealth, Lexington, KY  where I began a meeting tomorrow at the University Heights church on the topic of HOME IMPROVEMENT.

Unlike many meetings today, especially in these post-COVID-19 times, we’re here for the whole week, Sunday-Friday.  If you’re in the area, we’d love to see you. Click here for service times and meeting location. Continue reading

Weekly Recap: September 27-October 2

Today finds Norma Jean and me in Shelbyville, Tennesse, home of the Tennesse Walking Horse Celebration, where I’m conducting a weekend meeting for the Eastside Church.

For 11 years we lived in nearby Columbia, so its a pleasure to return to Middle Tennesse, enjoy the fellowship of these brethren, and see some old friends from bygone days.  Plus, October is a wonderful time to visit the Volunteer state. Continue reading

Weekly Recap: August 30-September 4

Good morning,

Here’s your weekly recap of our posts this week.  If you’ve missed one, it’s a good way to catch up.  And to share ThePreachersWord with a friend via email or social media.

Weekly Recap: July 19-24

Good morning

With the Canadian border still closed and travel to England cancelled, Norma Jean and I have been enjoying seeing the sights in Colorado this week.  And reconnecting with friends of bygone days.  While the events of the past three months  are not what we planned, we’ve adapted the old  adage, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

But the time has come to leave the majestic mountains and journey east. Continue reading
