We sometimes sing the song “I am Resolved” as an invitation song. The lyrics appeal to the non Christian to make a commitment to Christ. To resolve in one’s will to make a change.
Resolution is also good for Christians. As we begin a new year here are some resolutions you might want to consider.
Read the Bible regularly.
Pray to God every day.
Participate in Worship every Sunday.
Attend Bible Classes at my local church.
Bear the burdens of my hurting brothers and sisters.
Rid myself of a bad habit.
Learn a new skill or improve an existing one.
Share the Lord with the lost.
Be forgiving of others.
Go the second mile.
Bear fruit for the Lord.
Be kind.
Be not conformed to this world.
Admit and work to overcome my faults.
Look for the good and praise it.
Eliminate negative attitidues in my life.
Grow in my faith, hope and love.
Be concerned about others’ needs.
Trust God to persevere , provide and protect me.
What are you resolved to do and to be this year? Take a minute a share your resolutions with our readers. Thanks!
