Last week a new Texas law went into effect that Yahoo sports writer Shalise Manza Young, called, “barbaric.” “Inhumane.” “Nauseating.”
Furthermore, she urges the NCAA to deny Texas cities of Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio the right to host all men’s and women’s basketball tournaments and championship games for 2022 and all future years.
Failure to do so, Young argues, would show the NCAA and their leadership to be spineless and complicit in supporting this “odious new law.”

In one of his final acts before leaving office, President Donald Trump issued a proclamation declaring Friday, January 22nd, as “National Sanctity of Human Life Day.”
This celebration of life coincides with the anniversary of Roe v Wade, the Supreme Court’s 1973 landmark decision that allows a pregnant woman to abort her unborn child. Since then over 61 million unborn lives have been snuffed out, according to the American Life League.

A pro-choice organization, which means pro-abortion, recently mounted a new campaign claiming that abortion is a selfless act of love.
The National Women’s Law Center is seeking to “reframe” the abortion debate with their campaign “Abortion Actually.” According to their website they intend to “fight back against the assault on abortion rights in our country.” Continue reading
