This headline from Sunday’s Washington Post poses an interesting question to some troubling trends in our country: “The Sexual Harassment Epidemic Has Been Diagnosed. What’s the Cure?”

Were The Rules Different Then?

Harvey Weinstein, the Hollywood mogul, and successful independent film producer, has been headline news this past week.

The New York Times published a story detailing accounts of multiple sexual-harassment allegations against Weinstein over several decades. Three women have accused him of rape.

In response, Weinstein announced that he would be taking a leave of absence to enter rehab and receive counseling to deal with his behavior. He released a bizarre statement, a supposed apology, explaining his actions. Continue reading

Redefining Marriage: Are Three Better than Two?


Adam Lyons says he’s “the luckiest man alive.” Why? Because the Londoner living in Austin, Texas,  shares his life with two girlfriends, Brooke Shedd and Jane Shalakhova who are bi-sexual.

Lyons, the father of Shedd’s, 2 year old , Dante, is now expecting a baby boy with Shalakhova. The May 18th New York Post article extols their relationship called a “throuple.” The three share parenting duties as well as the same bed. They’re quoted as saying “For us, three definitely works better than two.” Continue reading
