Weekly Recap: February 6-10

Good Morning from Temple Terrace, Florida

What a wonderful week we’ve enjoyed at the Florida College Lectures.  In my 50+ years of attending, it ranks as one of the best ever.  Also it was a pleasure to meet so many of you who are regular readers of ThePreachersWord.  We appreciate your support and kind words of encouragement. We’re thankful this little blog site is finding a place to be useful in your devotion and ministry.

With the exception of Monday’s post on spiritual growth, our posts have highlighted various lecture topics.  If you’ve missed a post, this is an opportunity to catch up. We hope they whet your appetite to learn more from these capable speakers and challenging topics.  You can purchase the Lecture book, “A Life Worthy of the Gospel, at the Florida College web site.  In addition that Lectures were livestreamed and are archived on https://www.youtube.com/@FloridaCollegeVideos/search?query=2023%20lectureYouTube,  You can listen to the  singing prior to each evening Lecture as well.

We’re heading back to our home in Citrus County today.  And I will be teaching the adult Bible class and preaching tomorrow morning at the West Citrus Church.  If you’re close to Crystal River, come and visit us.

Hope you all have a great day. And a wonderful weekend.

God bless,

Ken

BONUS POST

Today’s bonus post, Spiritual Balance, was published 11 years ago today in our first year of blogging.  It’s short. And to the point.  I believe you will be blessed by reading it.  Also for my preacher friends, it is based on a wonderful quote by Elton Trueblood that will make a powerful 3 point sermon.
