It’s Saturday and time for a little humor to end our week.
Did you hear about the children who were lined up in the cafeteria of a “Christian” elementary school for lunch?
At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. Because the children had been taking multiple apples and then wasting them, someone made a note, and posted on the apple tray, “Take only one. God is watching.”
Moving farther along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. Scrawled on notebook paper, in a child’s hand writing, were these words: “Take all you want. God is watching the apples.
Like children, we may think we can be somewhere, or do something and God is not watching. We forget that He is not limited by time, space or location. He is infinite. Immortal. And omnipresent.
The wise man reminds us, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, watching the evil and the good” (Prov. 15:3).
Have a great week-end. And remember God is watching. Everyone. Everything, Everywhere.
