It doesn’t appear that the vitriol toward our newly elected President is going to disappear anytime soon.

In his latest music video Snoop Dogg literally takes aim at President Trump with a gun pointed at a clown dressed like the President. The rapper listed many of his grievances with the President including his travel ban, “people being in jail for weed” and of course, just winning the Presidency itself. Continue reading

Today is the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as 45th President of the United States. As a sure sign that I’m getting older, he will he the 13th President to govern since I was born. And 6 of them served 2 terms!

I plan to watch the Inauguration. It’s fascinating to see history unfold before your eyes while sitting the warm confines your home. It’s interesting to hear the opinion of the talking heads and reflect on their commentary. And it’s intriguing to see the interaction of political foes who for one day seek to be civil to one another. At least, that has been our tradition. Continue reading

Last Thursday night I joined 24 million other Americans and watched the Republican Presidential Debate on Fox News. While I did have two or three candidates that I was particularly interested in seeing, I admit I was curious what kind of fireworks Donald Trump would ignite! And it didn’t take long!
