Greetings from Jacksonville, FL
This week, Norma Jean and I have been the guests of the Cypress Grove Church, where I’m holding a meeting.
Russ Roberts preaches for this wonderful group of Christians. His ministry has been greatly enhanced by the loving involvement of his wife, Liz, the daughter of the late Ed Harrell. The church has about 50 members, with many young couples and around 20 children. So, the atmosphere is lively, enthusiastic, and welcoming. We’ve been warmly received this week and encouraged by their reception of the lessons. If you’re ever in this area, we recommend you pay them a visit.
Tomorrow we will conclude the meeting with two lessons at 9:30 and 10:30.
Today’s post is a recap of the past week’s post with its live links. It’s an easy way to catch up in case you’ve missed one. It’s also a good way to share ThePreachersWord with friends, relatives, and brethren via social media or email.
Have a great day. And a wonderful weekend.
God Bless,
Ken

Written 13 years ago, this post, Getting Ahead by Getting Along, speaks to a much-needed quality in today’s turbulent and contentious culture. It offers 7 specific Bible-based suggestions you can begin using today. My preaching brethren might even find a sermon starter in it! 🙂
