Good morning from Cobbly Nob, Tennessee.
Norma Jean and I are quickly coming to an end of our stay in the Smoky Mountains. It has been another wonderful, relaxing, and also exhilarating time enjoying God’s creation and the Fall foliage as the colors become more brilliant each day.
It has also been wonderful to be with the brethren at the Cosby Church and to enjoy time with our good friends Olie and Mary Williamson and James and Cheryll Witherington. Also, we’ve seen friends and former classmates, visiting the Smokies, who we haven’t seen in years.
Fortunately, we had an internet connection on the mountain and I’ve been able to post each day. Here’s a recap with the quick links to each post. In case you missed one, this is an easy way to catch up, plus share ThePreacherrsWord with others.
Tomorrow, we will be preaching again at Cosby. If you’re in the area, come and worship with us.
Have a great day. And a wonderful weekend.
God bless,
Ken

“I’m Tired of Doing Things My Way,” is a post from 9 years ago today. It’s based on a conversation and study I had with a man named Mike who was converted to Christ. It’s a short read. But one that you will find encouraging and challenging.
