Weekly Recap: July 18-23

Good morning from Beverly Hills

A friend asked me the other day, “When are you going back to Canada?”

I laughed.

Then explained the current complicated situation.

This week Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the Canadian border would open to fully vaccinated Americans on August 6.  However, two days later The Biden administration announced the U.S. Border would remain closed until at least August 21.  So, presumably, I could go to Canada, but it’s unclear if the U.S. would allow me to return home.

So, I doubt we’re going this year.  Hopefully, next year.

Today’s post provides a summary of this week’s posts with quick links to get you caught up in case you missed any. We encourage our readers to use this post to share ThePreachersWord with their friends either by social media or email.

Thank you all for your continued support and kind words of encouragement.

Have a good day. A wonderful weekend.  And a blessed Lord’s Day tomorrow.

God bless,

Ken

BONUS  POST

Today’s bonus post is from three years ago on this date entitled, Pay It Forward.  This iconic expression is more than a movie or a catchy slogan, but is one that we can all put into practice in our lives.  In fact, doesn’t it seem like that’s the Christian thing to do?
