Weekly Recap: May 16-21

Good Morning from Beverly Hills, Florida

After being away for 3 out of the last 4 weeks, it was good to be home all week.  And we’re blessed that we now have a place that we can call home.  Again.

Tomorrow, we’re driving up to Trenton where I’ll begin a Sunday-Wednesday meeting at the Cherry Sink Church.  We’ve been there many times in the past and look forward to being with these brethren again and seeing our friends in Gilchrist county.   You can access our schedule, as it currently stands, and see where we will be in the coming weeks.

This week’s recap is an eclectic collection of posts.  If you missed one this is a good opportunity to catch up, as well as share ThePreachersWord with others.

The widespread reception of this small, one-person ministry continues to surprise us.  This week I received a request from the Religion Editor of a California newspaper to reprint selected posts.  We rejoice in whatever good is accomplished by this means and give God the glory.

Have a good day. A great weekend.  And a blessed Lord’s Day tomorrow.

God bless,

Ken

BONUS POST

Like many, if not most preachers, we’ve moved several times through the years.  In looking back, I chuckled at the post from this day in 2012 when we were preparing to move to Kansas City.  As Yogi Berra was credited with saying, “It’s like déjà vu all over again.”  Anyway, Some Thoughts About Stuff continues to be relevant, even if we’re not moving.  Hope you enjoy it.
