Weekly Recap: January 14-29

Good morning from chilly Homosassa, Florida.

We’re enjoying a weekend with our grandkids, Miles, and Katherine, while Kenny and April enjoy a short get-a-way.

It’s hard to believe we’re ending the first month of 2021.  It’s been filled with new opportunities as well as exciting challenges.  Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, we can announce where we will once again have a permanent residence. It’s been fun being nomadic, but we need a house we can call home.

Tomorrow, I’m preaching again for the West Citrus Church in Crystal River.  It’s always a pleasure to worship with these fine brethren and have an opportunity to share the Word.

Today’s recap offers a variety of topics.  If you missed a post this week, this provides a good way to catch up, as well as share ThePreachersWord with others.  Also, there’s a bonus post at the end I think you will find profitable.

Have a good day and a wonderful weekend.

God bless,

Ken

BONUS POST’

Today’s bonus post from 7 years ago today, seems very relevant in a time of polarization, divisiveness, and suspicion.  Four Ways You Can Be a Blessing, changes our focus on the way we look at other people and moves us to a servant-focused approach. Click here to access this post.
