Jay E. Adams, in his excellent book Christian Living in the Home, tells of a marriage counselor meeting with a troubled couple he called Sue and Wilbur.
Sue began by saying she had an ulcer, but the doctor said it was not from a physical cause. She then pulled a manuscript about an inch thick from a large bag, typed on both sides, and slapped it down on the counselor’s desk.
