Yesterday’s Solar Eclipse was potentially seen by 31 million people who live in “the path of totality.”

Since Florida was not greatly impacted we watched on TV as NASA and excited newscasters tracked it from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, to Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Continue reading

Great Verses of the Bible: Psalm 19:1-2

 

This morning when I turned on my computer, this random screen saver appeared, pictured above. The caption reads: “You’re looking at a spiral galaxy containing upwards of 400 billion stars and 100 billion planets. Ahhh….”

Immediately my mind went to one of the great verses of the Bible, Psalm 19:1-2. “The heavens declare the glory of God, And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.” Continue reading

What Really Counts?

My Franklin planner has this inspirational quote for today by Albert Einstein. “Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.”

This thought raises the question, “What really counts in life?”
