Luke 13:1-5

Haddon W. Robinson, the American author, theologian, professor and preacher, once told a great story of a young lady who approached her preacher about the sin of pride.

“Every Sunday I come to church and look around and think to myself that I am the prettiest girl in the church,” she confessed. “I try to stop but I just can’t.”

In the final frame he sighs, “Ohh…there’s so little hope for advancement.”

Sadly, some folks have resigned themselves to feel like Snoopy. They feel hopeless. Continue reading

Both of the opposing sides lacked the resources to leave and build another building. So each group decided to meet at different times–one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Continue reading

Greetings from Beverly Hills, FL

This is sweet  time in Florida. Cool mornings in the 50’s or 60’s.  The highs in the 70’s or lower 80’s.  We’re blessed.

Yet, regardless of the temperature, we’re blessed in so many ways.  This week we had the opportunity to minister in the Word in a meeting in Trenton, FL  We enjoyed wonderful fellowship. Reminisced with friends and family. Made new friends.  And shared  good times.  In the midst of this I had a birthday Wednesday. Continue reading
