I love to preach. I have for over 40 years. It’s not only what I do. But it’s who I am. Preaching is as natural to me as breathing. It is more than a work. It is a calling. Preaching is satisfying. Several years ago when we were living in Palmetto, Florida, the Mayor, Toby Holland, dubbed me with the nickname “preacherman.” It was fitting. I am a preacher. It’s not only what I do. It’s who I am. I’ve been preaching since High School. For over 40 years I’ve been a preacherman. It’s my email address. preacherman@weliever.net
So, when I decided to start a blog it seemed natural to call it ThePreachersWord. I hope like the ancient Preacher of Ecclesiastes I can ”find delightful words and to write words of truth correctly” (Eccl 12:10). Continue reading
