I’m reading a book right now entitled, “Not Too Old, ”by David Faust. It’s subtitled “Turning Your Later Years Into Greater Years.” I would recommend it to any senior saint.

In his chapter on pursuing maturity as an older adult, Faust wrote, “Someone summed up senior adulthood by saying, “In your sixties, it’s ‘go, go, go.’ In your seventies it’s ‘slow, slow, slow.’ In your eighties it’s no, no, no!” Continue reading →

Tuesday morning I was up early working on my blog in the breakfast room at Homewood Suites in St. Augustine.

I noticed a man dressed in a coat and tie at table near me reading his Bible. Later when Norma joined me for breakfast, the man was still there. When he finished reading, I walked over and introduced myself.

“My name is Chuck,” he said.

Last Wednesday night our class at West Citrus studied a lesson from Matt Hennecke’s workbook on Bible Wars entitled “A Boy…A Stone…A Giant.”

Sunday, we were visiting the Central Church in Ocala and Jody Broyles’ lesson was “How To Kill A Giant.”
