Happy 4th of July

Since today is a holiday in the USA, we’re taking a blogging break.  Sorta.

However, knowing that rain is forecasted for much the country, plus realizing we’re read in many other countries, we’re linking three past posts relating to our 4th of July holiday in America for your reading profit and pleasure.

Hope you all have a great day and a wonderful holiday weekend.

“What Can the Righteous Do?  was my first 4th of July blog written in 2012.  Based on Psalm 11:3, it answers the question with 5 practical suggestions.

Reflections on America’s Birthday was written 10 years ago and based on 2 Chronicles 7:14.  It’s a bit of melancholy piece calling for repentance.

This 2020 post reminds us what it was like just 5 years ago during the COVID-19 shutdown.  Also entitled Reflections on America’s Birthday, it offers 6 introspective thoughts that are relevant in today’s hyper-politicized and cultural divided  post-COVID world.

Thank you for the link and I hope your wife is on the mend. Take care of yourself, the most OVERLOOKED care is that needed by the care-givers, God bless you both.
