Good morning from Beverly Hills, Florida
Norma Jean and I have had a wonderful week in a gospel meeting with the brethren in Marion, Indiana. And enjoyed being house guests of Jack and Rhonda Wiley.
We returned to Florida Thursday in time to attend the 13th annual Florida College Leadership Dinner. It was a great evening seeing many old friends from around the country and hearing the featured guest speaker Tim Tebow.
Somehow we managed to still send out a post every day. Here’s the recap in case you missed any posts this week so you can catch up.
Have a great day and a wonderful weekend.
God bless,
Ken

BONUS POST
15 years ago today, Randy Pausch, a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University, stood before 400 colleagues and students to deliver his final lecture entitled “Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams.” It was his last lecture because he was dying of cancer. We wrote about it 7 years ago in a post “Die Like a Hero Going Home.” It’s worth 3-4 minutes to your time to read it.
The Bonus Post was so touching and gives all Christians a lot to consider as we go through this life. What is our purpose and have we done all that we could for Christ? I really like the last comment, “Die Like A Hero Going Home.” Thank you for your words of encouragement.
