In his book, God’s Way To The Top, J. J. Turner shares Biblical principles of success that surpass monetary and material definitions as viewed by the world.
In the first of 30 short chapters, he lists 30 principles of success. Here are the first 12 for your consideration and meditation.
#1 Proper thinking is vital to success (Prov. 23:7).
#2 A person must have a goal if he expects to succeed (Phil. 3:14).
#3 Hard work must go into achieving success (Eccl. 9:10).
#4 Success is based on honesty with one’s fellow man (Rom. 131:8).
#5 Meeting your obligations is essential to succeeding (Rom. 12:17).
#6 Proper management of time is a must for daily success (Eph. 5:16).
#7 In pursuing success the law must be obeyed (Rom. 13:1).
#8 Prayer is a dynamic key to success (1 Thess. 5:17).
#9 You must not quit if you expect to succeed (Heb. 12:1)
#10 A fresh outlook on life is a must for daily success (Rom 12:1).
#11 You must believe that you can succeed (Phil. 4:13).
#12 To succeed you must depend upon a power that is greater than yourself (Eph. 3:20).
Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you;
bind them around your neck;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good success
in the sight of God and man.
