Friday’s List To Live By #36

Yesterday’s post, Six Powerful Words, got me thinking about six-word quotes that could inspire, encourage, and motivate.

Six words that you could share with others to make a difference in their lives. Six words to offer someone who’s discouraged. Afraid. Confused. Doubting. Hoping. And wondering if it will work.

Six words to encourage. Praise. Commend. Advise. Remind.

Six words you can live by.

SIX WORDS TO ENCOURAGE AND SHARE

You are doing a great job.

This is your year to shine.

Don’t wait for opportunity. Create it.

Be a fountain. Not a drain.

You got to nourish to flourish.

“God is our refuge and strength” (Ps. 46:1)

Every end is a new beginning.

Dreams don’t work unless you do.

Moments give birth to new memories. (Munia Khan)

Happiness is always an inside job.

“Fight the good fight of faith” (1 Tim. 6:12)

Live like there is no tomorrow.

Fall seven times; stand up eight.

With great power comes great responsibility.

All good friends were once strangers.

Big things often have small beginnings. (Adapted from T. E. Lawrence)

Lost time is never found again.

“Comfort the discouraged. Help the weak.” (1 Thess. 5:14).

You’re worth more than you know.

I’m so very proud of you.

Don’t be busy; Instead, be productive.

Every problem has a creative solution.

“With God all things are possible.” (Mk. 10:27)

–Ken Weliever, The Preacherman

(Note: I’m unsure of the authorship of most of these quotes. Several were taken from the “Root Report” )

Perfect, I’m creating a “think better” quote book for my soon to be college graduate. These will be perfect for it.
