Today’s list is borrowed and modified from “The Interior Castle” by Teresa of Avila. It’s based on the concept found in Psalm 103:2 when David wrote,
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits.”

BLESS YOU, LORD…
…For not abandoning me when I abandoned you.
…For offering your hand of love in my darkest, most lonely moment.
…For putting up with such a stubborn soul as mine.
…For loving me more than I love myself.
…For continuing to pour out your blessings upon me, even though I respond so poorly.
…For repaying my sin with Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
…For being constant, consistent, and unchanging amidst all the changes in the world.
…For your countless physical, material, and spiritual blessings you have provided for me and my family.
…For continuing to bless me even when I forget to bless you.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, And (help me to) forget not all His benefits.”
