Are We Providing Exceptional Service?

“Chick-fil-A is dominating fast food” according to an article this week in Business Insider.

Journalist Hayley Peterson reports that “the company generates more revenue per restaurant than any other fast-food chain in the US.”

“Despite its relatively small size, Chick-fil-A also ranks highly in terms of its total sales. The chain generated nearly $8 billion in revenue in 2016, making it the eighth-largest fast-food chain in the US, according to QSR.” Continue reading

Great Verses of the Bible: Daniel 1:8

 

I recently read a story about Charles Spurgeon, the 19th-century British evangelist, who was conducting a boys Bible class on the book of Daniel.

One of the boys was asked to read some verses aloud, and he came to the passage in Daniel 6:3 which reads “…Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him.” Continue reading

Are You Really Hearing?

Marguerite Provost tells about her 3-year-old granddaughter, Beverly, who was playing with her toys. Beverly’s mother was in the laundry room loading clothes into the washer and noticed that Beverly’s shirt was dirty and needed to be washed.
