John D. Rockefeller was a business magnet, philanthropist, and founder of Standard Oil Company. When he died in 1937, he was considered one of the world’s richest men.

The story is told of one of his senior executives making a bad decision that cost the company over $2 million. When the news leaked out most of the executives were avoiding Mr. Rockefeller that day assuming he would be extremely angry. Continue reading

In 7 days America votes for the next President. Won’t it be wonderful when it’s over?

My feelings are well summarized in a post by blogger Bob Russell last week when he wrote, “Two things continue to disturb me about the current Presidential campaign. First, like most Americans, I am deeply troubled that the two candidates are so terribly flawed. I know there has never been a perfect candidate but this campaign is overstating the case.
