There has never been one like Jesus. In all the annals of history no entry has been made which compares to His. He was born of a peasant woman and His early family life gave only slight hints as to the greatness of His holy character or the importance of His mission on the earth. The lack of earthly possessions must certainly have convinced those who knew Him that His lot in life was not too far removed from theirs and that entirely too much would need be required for His influence to spread further than would be expected of any other carpenter’s son. The Antidote to Procrastination

Yesterday a newsfeed on my facebook page popped up from Cale Andrews. It was a photo of a book he was reading. The chapter was about becoming more productive and realizing your potential. It said there were three catalysts “that put fire under your feet and eliminate procrastination.”

One of the catalysts was coaching. The other was accountability. Then there was this great quote that I wrote down pertaining to the third catalyst.  Continue reading

The Danger of Doubt

My Franklin Planner has a quote or motivational saying for each day of the week.  On this day is a quote by Arthur Golden who said, “A mind troubled by doubt cannot focus on the course to victory.”

We understand the need for faith and confidence when it involves athletic contests.  For a team to win, it must believe that it can.  For the team to be victorious each player must focus with confidence in their ability to succeed.  Continue reading
