Weekly Recap: September 8-12

Greetings from Beverly Hills, FL

This week has reminded us that we live in a dark world.   A world of hate. Vindictiveness. Vengeance. A wicked world of sin that seems to know no shame.  We hope that, in some small way, our posts provide a respite from all the negativity around us.  It’s our desire to offer a perspective that sheds light and gives you some help, hope, and peace.

We send this recap each Saturday of the past week’s posts in case you missed one.  With its live links, it’s an easy way to catch up and share ThePreachersWord with family, friends, or brethren via email or social media.   I have picked two bonus posts that seem especially relevant right now to offer some balance to the overwhelming avalanche of bad news that may tend to discourage us.  We must never forget that no matter how dark the night, there is a light.  And no matter how much evil seems to have the upper hand, God and good will prevail.  Truth will be vindicated.  And those on Jesus’ side will claim the victory.

Be strong and of good courage.

God Bless,

Ken
