Weekly Recap: August 4-8

Greetings from Welland, Ontario, Canada

This is our last recap post from Welland, as we will be leaving on Monday.  Heading to Centerville, Ohio, where I’m speaking Tuesday evening in their summer series at the Cornerstone Church.  From there, we will be making our way back home to Florida.

Although Norma Jean’s health issues have made this trip different, it’s still been wonderful to be with our Canadian brethren.  The opportunity to share the Word at Wellandport over the past five weeks has been a pleasure.  We have been well received and encouraged by their ready reception and eagerness to learn, grow, and develop greater discipleship qualities.  We love and appreciate them all.  A special shout-out to their Shepherds, Barry Burns and his hospitable wife, Maria, Rob Caldwell and his caring wife, Sharon, and Mike Stephens, who, according to the Bible, are counted worthy of double honor, serving as both a preacher and one of the pastors.  Mike’s wife, Sherry, deserves special recognition for her tireless work during VBS and her gracious hospitality.  Until we meet again, God bless you all.

Today’s post is a recap of the past week’s posts, with their live links, in case you’ve missed one.  It’s an easy way to catch up and share The Preacher’s Word with your friends, family, and brethren.

Notably, we have reached our 4,000th post since starting our blog 13 years ago.  Thank you to all who’ve encouraged us and shared ThePreachersWord with others.

Have a great day. And a wonderful weekend

God  Bless,

Ken
