Greeting from Beverly Hills, FL
Well, things are heating up here FL. But it’s fixin’ to get hotter for us as we’re heading to Houston today.
We are attending the Southside Lectures in Pasadena, where I will be speaking four times (Mon-Thurs), on the theme “What Says the Scripture?” We are not only excited about the opportunity, but looking forward to seeing many of our Texas friends as well as being with the other speakers. David Banning. Russ Bowman. Jordan Shouse. And Tim Stevens who will be leading the singing. And, of course, the Southside preacher, our friend, Bubba Garner.
If you are in driving distance, we’d love to see you. Click here for information on the times, topics and speakers.
It will be a busy week, so I’m not sure if I will be able to post a new blog every day. We shall see.
In case you missed a post this week, this post, with its live links, is an easy way for you to catch up. Plus it’s a good way for you to share ThePreachersWord with your friends either via email or social media.
Have a great day. A wonderful weekend. And a blessed Lord’s Day tomorrow.
God Bless,
Ken

Flags in Florida have been flying at half-mast. I wondered why? I learned that Governor DeSantis ordered it to remember the horrific attack on a night club in Orlando 7 years ago that killed 49 people and wounded 53 more. There were changes of hypocrisy both then and now, because of the Pulse Nightclub was a hangout for homosexuals. Charges were made that conservatives opposing same-sex marriage held some responsibility for this godless attack. My post, 7 years ago today, addresses that issue.
