Under “normal” circumstances stress is a fact of life. But in more recent times the problems of stress have accelerated exponentially.
Today’s list based on Philippians 4 and adapted from Alice Gray, Steve Stephens, and John Van Diest’s book of lists, offers a practical, doable, and scriptural method to manage stress.
GOD’S STRESS MANAGEMENT PLAN
●WORK OUT your difficulties with others.
●HELP those around you.
●REJOICE in the Lord. Always.
●SLOW DOWN and be gentle.
●REMEMBER God is near.
●LET GO of your anxieties.
●HAND your worries over to the Lord.
●ALLOW God’s peace to guard your heart and mind.
●FOCUS on positive thoughts.
●DO what you already know you should be doing.
●BE CONTENT with whatever circumstance or situation you are in.
●CLAIM the promise: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
●ACCEPT the help and encouragement of others.
●TRUST God to provide for all of your needs.
●GIVE God all the glory. In all things.
