For over 20 years USA Magazine and Points of Light Foundation have partnered on the fourth Saturday in October to sponsor “Make a Difference Day.” They call on average citizens to take on a project in their community and do something to make a difference. This is good because it emphasizes that one person with an idea can accomplish much. Over three million people will volunteer to make a difference in the lives of over 20 million people.
