Persecuted For Righteousness’ Sake

“I am a Christian,” Meriam Ibrahim told the judge at her sentencing hearing in May, “and I will remain a Christian.”

The case of the 27-year-old Sudanese woman sparked international outrage when she was sentenced to die by hanging for refusing to renounce her Christian faith. At the time she was eight months pregnant and has since given birth to a baby girl.  Continue reading

Coming Soon! “GOSNELL” The Movie

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the first degree murder conviction in the trial of Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia abortion doctor.

He was found guilty of murdering three babies born alive in his abortion clinic by severing their spines with scissors following delivery.   And convicted on two counts of gross negligence of two mothers.  In addition Gosnell was convicted for killing 21 babies in utero, which is not murder in these cases, but a violation of Pennsylvania’s legal-abortion limit. Win or Lose, Let’s Get Rowdy!

It was predictable. In fact, police were prepared in both Lexington, KY and Storrs, CT.

Following Monday night’s NCAA championship basketball game, thousands of disappointed Cat fans spilled out into the streets, lighting fires, burning player jerseys and spewing out profanities. Bill Maher, host of HBO’s “Real Time,” recently spouted “this is a stupid country” because 60% of Americans believe in the Biblical narrative of Noah.
