Weekly Recap: November 18-22
Greetings from Indian Shores Beach, Florida
We’re here for our annual family Thanksgiving getaway. The hurricanes took a toll on the beach community. Lots of places still closed. But several are open for business. They seem glad that we still decided to come.
Today’s post, our weekly recap of the past week’s posts, will be our last new post for November. We’re taking next week off to relax, recharge and enjoy family as we give thanks. I will however, reblog some past posts next week. Continue reading

Three Barriers To Spiritual Growth
I’m facebook friends with a young lady, Becky René, who’s the daughter of gospel preacher, David Cambridge, who preaches in London, England.
I don’t remember how, when, or why I became one of Becky’s facebook friends, but I’m glad I did. She’s obviously a very spiritually minded and evangelistic young lady, who provides some encouraging and sometimes humorous posts on her page. Continue reading

“While I was preaching one Sunday, an elderly woman, Mary, fainted and struck her head on the end of the pew. Immediately, an EMT in the congregation called an ambulance.” Continue reading

Greetings from Beverly Hills, FL
After a four week trip to Tennessee and Texas, we’re home again. Well, for a few days!
We’re finally, beginning to enjoy some Florida Fall weather. Highs in the upper 70’s and lows in the upper 50’s here in Citrus County. Sweet. It’s a good time to be in Florida. Continue reading

Stop Fighting Lust…
I’m not sure who is the original author of this piece. I’ve seen it posted by two different people on both facebook and Instagram.
The headline caught my attention when it announced “Stop fighting lust–” What? I thought. But then the second part of the title offered a fuller explanation.
