Greetings from Beverly Hills, FL
Well, March is in the history books, and April has arrived. But March Madness is wrapping up this weekend.
I was looking forward to two great games today—Duke vs. Houston, and Purdue vs. Michigan.
No wait… that’s not right. That was my bracket prediction—and it’s completely busted.
Once again, we’re reminded that no one truly knows the future or can predict it with certainty. With over 36 million bracket entries this year, not a single one is perfect—including those of the so-called experts. At ESPN, even a group of 42 analysts couldn’t agree on which teams would make the Final Four.
There’s a bigger lesson here. “How often do we trust our own predictions more than God’s promises?”
It reminds us to place our faith, trust, and hope in the One who knows the end from the beginning.
We’re sending this post as a recap of this past week’s posts in case you missed one. It’s an easy way to catch up—and a great opportunity to share a sample of ThePreachersWord with your family, friends, or brethren via email or social media.
Hope you all have a great day—and a wonderful weekend!
God bless,
Ken

What they didn’t foresee was Sunday’s history-altering event. Written 14 years ago, in our first year of publication, the ever-relevant post, “He was Dead. But Now He’s Alive is shared today for your reflection and meditation.
