Greetings from Citrus County, Florida:
If you’re like us, you’re wrapping up your Christmas shopping. Literally! We hope each of you has a wonderful holiday season and is able to enjoy it with family and/or friends.
Of course, we know that the Christmas season doesn’t put the world on pause and keep bad things from happening, problems from occurring, or heartbreaking situations from befalling. In such cases, we pray for your peace, comfort, and assurance that whatever challenge you may face, the God of peace and all comfort knows, cares, and will not leave you.
With this post, we’re taking a break for the remainder of the year. As is our custom, we’re reblogging (yes, that’s actually a word) the top 10 posts of the year, beginning tomorrow. This year, however, we’re doing something different. According to WordPress, out of our top 10 most-read posts, only one was from 2025. And that was a prayer request for Norma Jean. So, we’re not going to repost that and cause any extra confusion. (By the way, she’s doing well, improving each day, and continuing to manage her Parkinson’s symptoms. Thank you for your prayers and continued concern.)
So we’re posting the top 10 reads this year, which span several years. I’m not sure what conclusion to draw from that. But it does highlight that the archive section is a valuable resource for our readers to access past posts. So, over the next several days, we’re posting what people have been reading the most from ThePreachersWord.
Today’s post is a recap of the past week’s post. So, in case you missed one, it’s an easy way to catch up. Tomorrow, we’ll begin the top 10 countdown.
Have a great day. A wonderful weekend. And a blessed holiday season.
God Bless,
Ken

Look in Your Bible. And See What You’ll Find! is a post published on this day, 13 years ago, in our first year of blogging. It contains a cute story. A powerful point. And thoughts for serious reflection. Most of our current readers probably haven’t seen it. I hope you take a couple of minutes and read this short post.

I hope you and Norma have a wonderful holiday season as well!
