Greetings from Beverly Hills, FL
“It’s good to be home,” Norma Jean reflected as we pulled in our driveway on Wednesday afternoon. Indeed. Trips are fun. And often profitable. But home? Well, it just feels good to be home.
Of course, she may have been feeling some joy in knowing that our 2025 travel schedule is finished after being away for about 19 weeks this year. It’s a bit of a joke where we worship that I preach there when I’m home, but I’m never home! But we will be home at West Citrus every Sunday in December and most of January and February. If you’re traveling to Florida this winter, come over to the Nature Coast and worship with us. We’d love to see you. And maybe enjoy some of our delicious seafood together.
We’ve been blessed with a combination of personal travel, preaching appointments, and Gospel Meeting work this year. At ages 77 and 78, we are thankful for the opportunities, resources, and the measure of health we do have that allows us to share the Message with others and make memories that will outlive us. It’s a reminder to us all–be thankful for each day. Because “you don’t know what a day may bring forth” (Prov. 17:1).
Today’s post is a recap of this past week’s post, including live links. It’s a good way to catch up in case you missed one. Also, it’s an easy way to share ThePreachersWord with family, friends, and brethren either via email or social media.
Have a great day! And a wonderful weekend!
God Bless,
Ken

Finish the Year Strong and Reach Forward
Tomorrow is the 84th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 7th, 1941. Thirteen years ago, in the first year of our publication, I wrote a post entitled, Lessons from a Day of Infamy. I doubt many of our current readers have seen it. Take a couple of minutes and read this post. It will speak to you on several levels and offer some spiritual lessons you will find helpful.
