Weekly Recap: October 27-31

Greetings from Beverly Hills, FL

Whew!  It’s been a busy week.  Preaching last Sunday in Cosby, Tennessee. Traveling home. Catching up. Preparing for an upcoming Gospel Meeting. Planning a trip to Dallas. Making a quick turnaround to attend the Florida College Impact Gala.  And participating in a fundraiser for our local Rotary Club today in Crystal River.

Tomorrow I’m preaching at the West Citrus Church in Crystal River.

Somehow, from mountain cabins to home and hotel rooms, we’ve managed to produce a post each day that, we hope, offers our readers some encouragement, help, hope, and eternal assurance.  You write, click a button, send it into cyberspace, and wonder, “Who’s reading this?”  Last night, a gentleman approached me, thanked me for ThePreachersWord, told me how much he appreciated it, and said he had saved each one.  While we were in the Smoky Mountains, we also received a similar word of appreciation from another reader.  Such sincere feedback boosts our spirits and reminds us to press on.  Thank you all for your encouragement through the years in writing this little blog.

Today’s post is a recap of the past week’s posts.  It’s a service to our readers, an easy way to catch up if you missed one.

Hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

God Bless,

Ken

BONUS POST

It was on this day, November 1, 1512,  that the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Rome was exhibited to the public for the first time.  Based on a retort attributed to the Italian artist Michelangelo about his work, we wrote a piece that will challenge your thinking and prompt some personal introspection.  Click here to read “What Does God See in the Dark Corners of Your Life?”
