Greetings from Beverly Hills, FL
From Pre-op, to Norma Jean’s surgery, to Post-op, this has been quite a week.
Norma’s last surgery, in fact her last hospital stay, was 52 years ago when Kenny was born. So, for us, this was new territory. Thankfully, the surgery was successful. And the one unspoken concern, which we never verbalized to each other, was what pathology would find from the fibroid. What a relief to hear the surgeon say it was negative. Norma’s recovery is typical of most Parkinson’s patients. But she is making slow and steady progress each day.
Again, we thank all of you who offered words of encouragement and prayerful petitions. It means so much more than we can ever express. Thank you so very much.
Somehow we managed to post every day except Tuesday. So, here’s a recap of the past week’s posts in case you missed one. It’s an easy way to catch up. Plus share ThePreachersWord with a friends, family or brethren via email or social media Also there are two bonus posts at the end that you won’t want to miss.
Tomorrow I am preaching at the West Citrus Church in Crystal River.
Have a great day. And a wonderful weekend. Oh, and Happy Fathers’ Day to all you Dads.
God Bless.
Ken
