Weekly Recap: October 28-November 1

Greetings from The Great Smoky Mountains,

Today ends our 2 weeks in this beautiful part of God’s creation.

It’s been a great time.  Not only enjoying the splendor of the Fall Foliage, but worshiping with and preaching for the brethren at Cosby; being with our good friends Olie and Mary Williamson; seeing several friends who were visiting the Smokies at the same time; and having Norma Jean’s cousin, Marsha and her husband Dick spend a few days with us.   Indeed, we feel blessed.

Today, we are flying out of Knoxville to DFW.  Tomorrow I begin a meeting with the West Main Church in Lewisville, Texas.  West Main holds a special place in our hearts for several reasons, but it’s the place of my last full-time, located work.  We are honored to be asked to return and share a series of Bible lessons.  If you live in the DFW area, we’d love to see you during the Sunday-Wednesday meeting.

Today’s post is a recap of the past week’s post.  It’s a good way to catch up in case you’ve missed one.  Also there’s a bonus post at the end.

Hope you all have a great day. And a wonderful weekend.

God Bless,

Ken
