Weekly Recap: August 19-23

Greetings from Beverly Hills, Fl

Yesterday Norma Jean and I celebrated our 56th wedding anniversary.  It has been a great journey.  Literally!  She is my best friend, my lover, and my partner in ministry.  Together, we have worked full time for 9 different churches in 6 different states.  We’ve traveled together to all 50 states, as well 15 countries, and several U.S. and British territories.  Like all couples we’ve had our share of joys and sorrows, good times and tough times,  problems and challenges.  However, with faith in Jesus and commitment to each other, we’ve come a long way.  We’ve been blessed.  And we thank God.

Today’s  post is a recap of the past week’s posts with its live links.  It’s an easy way to catch up in case you missed one.  It’s also a good way to share ThePreachersWord via email or on social media.

I’m looking forward tomorrow to be preaching again at at the West Citrus Church in Crystal River.  Thursday evening I’m delivering the closing lesson on the Summer Series at the Spring Warrior Church in Perry, FL.  My assigned topic is “What Does the Bible Say About Heaven and Hell?

Hope you all have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

God Bless,

Ken
