Weekly Recap: July 15-19

Greetings from Welland, Ontario, Canada

This week is one of the highlights of our trip to Canada–VBS at the Wellandport Church.

This is the 5th year I have taught the adult class since we began coming in 2018.  This year’s theme was based on the FLOOD and the VBS material supplied by Apologetics Press. Although small in number by US standards, the Wellandport Church puts on a top notch VBS,  The  planning and preparation was evident from the decor the classroom and building, to the activities of the teachers, and the obvious excitement and enthusiasm of the children.  It was a pleasure to have a part on this year’s study.

Today’s post is a recap of the past week’s post in case you’ve missed one.  With its live links it’s an easy way to catch up.

BTW, last week we wrote about the Gator attack our daughter, Rachél, suffered on July 4th.   She is recuperating a home and doing well.  She will, however, be non-weight bearing on her right foot for another 4-6 weeks.  She has been interviewed by 4 TV stations in Tampa.  And this week was interviewed by the Washington Post whose reporter published an in depth story about the attack.  We’re thankful she is healing with the prospects of a full recovery,

Tomorrow I am preaching at Jordan, Ontario, a congregation that dates back to the early 1800’s.  In fact Alexander Campbell preached there in 1840

Hope you all have a great day and wonderful weekend.

God Bless,

Ken

BONUS POST

Today is the anniversary of  Neil Armstrong walking on the moon.  In a post published from here in Welland 6 years ago, The Moon Proclaims God’s Glory, we not only recognize that historical event, but  honor our God who created the moon.  You will enjoy this trip down memory lane.  And also be reminded of God’s greatness and glory.
