We had no idea when we began this little blog 11 years, 11 months and 6 days ago that we would still be posting, let alone amass this volume of work.

Texting Jesus

I admit that I’m behind the curve regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI). Especially as it is being used by some to craft sermons, write spiritual blogs, or produce Bible class material.

Flourishing or Floundering?

“Flourishing” is apparently becoming a buzz word and a very important concept today in psychological circles.

“The psychology community calls this lofty combination of physical, mental and emotional fitness ‘flourishing.’ It is the exact opposite of languishing, that sense of stagnation,” Adam Grant wrote in The New York Times. Continue reading

Weekly Recap: November 27-December 1

Greetings from Citrus County, Florida

Our traveling has ended for 2023 and we plan to be home for the month of December, enjoying time with family, and sharing the Word at the West Citrus Church in Crystal River.

Tomorrow I will be preaching at the Sunday morning worship service, and beginning a class on The Heart of Christianity.  On Wednesday evening I am teaching a class on the book of Ecclesiastes.  Apparently, the reports of my “retirement” have been greatly exaggerated.  Continue reading
