Weekly Recap: December 4-8

Greetings from Beverly Hills, Florida

Just so our friends up North know, not everything is sunshine and lollipops here in Florida.

Our templatizes dipped into the upper 30’s this week.  And the highs never got out of the 60’s for several days.  Wednesday night I had to wear a sweater to Church.  Yep.  We have cold weather too.  But today is predicting a high of 81. Happy days are here again.

Well, enough “complaining.”  We’re richly blessed in so many ways.  And thankful for the opportunities to minister in the Word–regardless of the weather.

This week, as noted in our Wednesday post, marked blog post #3500.  If you’re new to ThePreachersWord, you can easily access any of the 3500 posts based on the categories listed, or use the WordPress search engine using a key word or Bible verse.

Additionally, we continue to have preaching and teaching opportunities, with meetings and out of the country trips planned for 2024, as well as assisting in the teaching and preaching here at the West Citrus Church in Crystal River.

As usual on Saturday, this post is a recap of the past week’s posts in case you missed one.  It’s an easy way to catch up, as well as share ThePreachersWord with your friends via email or social media

We hope you have a great day. A wonderful weekend. And blessed Lord’s Day tomorrow.

God Bless,

Ken

BONUS POST

The Consequences of a Little Spark, was written and published 7 years ago today.  It tells the story of the devasting fire in the Smoky Mountains and makes an important spiritual application to our lives. Most of our new readers haven’t seen it.  Others will profit from revisiting this issue.  Take 2-3 minutes to read this important post.

Amen! 🙂 Love the recap idea every week, it really works for me. Good time for the digestion and application of all that’s been written over the past week! I hope that makes sense. God bless your weekend too!
