Greetings from Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada
Well, our time in the home of the Canucks is swiftly coming to an end.
Tomorrow I’m preaching my final lesson at Wellandport. Then we are heading back to the states on Monday. It’s been great being with our special friends and brethren. We’ve enjoyed sharing the Word. The excitement of VBS. Making new friends. Fellowship over good food. In home hospitality. Seeing The Falls (again) and marveling over God’s awesome power (again). The best Gelato this side of Italy. Cooler weather. Laugher. Love. And even a few tears. We may go home, but these wonderful folks will continue to occupy a special place in our hearts.
For those churches who support Mike Stephens, who not only serves as the preacher, but also as a pastor, along with Barry Burns and Rob Caldwell, your investment is well placed. It is reaping spiritual dividends. We see growth. And the prospects of future conversions. The brethren here are strong. United. And focused. They may be small in number, but they are mighty in spirit. We pray God’s continued blessings on them.
Today’s post offers a recap of the past week for those who may have missed one. It’s not only a good way to catch up, but to share ThePreachersWord with your friends via email or social media.
Where ever you are in the world, have a great day. A wonderful weekend. And a blessed Lord’s Day tomorrow.
God Bless,
Ken

Published 9 years ago on this date, “How To Love Someone You Can’t Stand” resonated with many of our readers then. Most of our newer followers probably haven’t seen it. I recommend it. The post offers some practical, Biblical advice to help you with a difficult relationship in your life.
