Weekly Recap: July 3-7

Greetings from Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada

We’ve had a great week here already.  Celebrating Canada Day (July 1) and our July 4th Independence Day.  Greater, however, is the wonderful association we enjoy with the brethren here in the Niagara Region.  In addition to Lord’s Day worship and Wednesday evening Bible study, we’ve enjoyed Sunday dinner, a cookout, Gelato, ice cream , a wonderful Italian dinner, and today a soccer game –all of this with many of our friends and  brethren in the area.

This month we are sharing 8 lessons on our 2023 theme “Sowing Seeds for Spiritual Growth,” plus teaching the adult VBS class July 17-20.  So, it’s a busy month.

This was a little shorter blog week, with a holiday off and a reblog.  But here’s a recap for any of these you might have missed.

Hope you all have a great day. A wonderful weekend. And a blessed Lord’s Day tomorrow.

BONUS POST

Mind Your Manners was a post published 9 years ago today.  You will find it interesting, informative, and even a bit humorous at times.  But most of all it will challenge you to follow Paul’s instructive in 1 Cor. 13 when he wrote, “love has good manners.”
